Ok so wow it's been quite a while since I posted my adventures in FFXI and in my defense I've been enjoying life outside of the game. I have however still been doing quite a bit in game. I'm not going to type much on what I've been doing since the screenshots will hopefully cover what I've been doing. (This is going to have a lot of pictures so it may take a while to load)

Ok to start things off, back in June I finished getting all of my Thief AF. Since then I've leveled Thief up to level 68. I really love this job but it's hard to ever find the time to level it. I know I don't have a Maat video for this yet, because I want to wait until level 70, since I get the majority of my evasion gear at that level.

I thought this was an interesting shot. Saw a shout in whitegate about an unclaimed King Behemoth. Apparently a linkshell wiped to it and call for helped it so everyone that was there had to home point making me the first person to arrive there. We ended up killing this as well.

I never took a picture of me during my run but I did manage to get a picture of the final boss while helping Judg beat his.

I did manage to find time to do a solo challenge. This time on Red Mage. Although it's been done many times before, I decided to give it a whirl since I needed this to get my Evoker's ring for my 75 summoner.

Not going to give anything away for WoTG but they added another race to the evil shadows. This time a Galka. That staff is very imposing on him too.

Some random campaign shots I took. First one is the most exp I ever got in one sitting. The second is a look at what an awesome evasion build can do against one of the NMs using hundred fists.

This is by far my favorite pic out of the bunch. It flailed and I managed to live along with Charandi because my Shadow Mantle proc'd while on Black Mage. We ended up killing this as well.

This is one of the sadest yet most beautiful scenes in FFXI.

Ok I took tons of photos of this cutscene but I don't want to show all of them because this is by far the most amazing cutscene I have seen in the game by far. The ultimate summoning of Fenrir!

Whelp that's all of the spoilers I'm going to post. I also decided to start a new NPC and he's already higher level than my old one. One of my favorite things to do in game is just chill and get some merits while leveling my NPC on Ninja.

Nothing new really has been happening in game. In fact, I've actually been spending less time on game and more time irl which is a good change. I still log on for events and do Salvage every weekend with Aptdestruction's group (although 35's still won't drop for me).

LP as a whole has been doing better. I think we got like five or six Dalmaticas this last month although our Dynamis attendance could improve a lot. We've had a lot of new people join the linkshell causing our applications to close. Although I'm not sure how I feel about some of the new members. There are a couple though that are doing a great job and I feel are a welcome addition.

For me I've been leveling a lot. Getting even closer to that Maat's cap. I got my Dark Knight and Summoner to 66 and 68 respectively through Summoner burning and I've beat maat on Summoner now. I don't really like summoner burning because I feel it takes some of the fun out of leveling a job. With leveling summoner, I didn't mind because that's the way the job can be played but leeching on other jobs feels kinda meh. It is kinda cool though to get chains as high as this in the teen levels.

I don't level all my jobs through summoner burning though and I've got my Thief from 46 to 58 and I'm really enjoying it. Can't wait to get to level 60 so I can get Assassin and Dancing Edge. :3

I'm super lazy at updating

Well, it sure has been a while since I last updated. I guess it was partially my time being completely occupied at Nova and my move back home that I forgot to update on here. I've got way too many things to say in this one post so I'm just gonna talk about some of the more important things that have happened in FFXI. I guess first off I've got two more jobs to 75, Samurai and Ninja. Samurai is a decently fun job but I really am enjoying meriting on my Ninja. I also joined Aptdestruction's Salvage group. It runs on Saturdays and Sundays and is a little bit early for me but I'm very much enjoying it. It's nice to have scheduled runs as opposed to let's go whenever because to me this gets more accomplished.I've also been working on my Goldsmithing. Got it to 48(kind of at a wall now) and I got my Shaded Specs which are awesome to look at.

I'm just trying to remember things as I go now so I think I'll do a section per job update, starting with Bard.
In a recent update SE made it to where the duration of elegy was halved on HNM's like Cerberus. Now instead of an 8 minute elegy it's only lasting 4 which kind of sucks but isn't all too bad if you have two bards. Gear wise nothing really new for my bard except for my Shadow Coat that dropped from Odin.(Best debuffing piece imo for bard and it turns me into an evil bard lol)

Next up is my Monk. I can honestly say I havn't really been doing too much on Monk now that I have Ninja for soloing except for the Divisor ring runs I do with Silvaro and Kana so we can get points for Salvage. So far out of like 12 runs we have not seen a single ??? ring.

Now for White Mage, the newest update has made this job even more fun to play with the two new job abilities Afflatus: Solace/Misery. Solace grants a stoneskin on to your cures which makes it even easier to keep people alive. Misery isn't used as often but the best thing about it is it enables you to remove multiple debuffs from your party in an aoe range. This is done in combination with the new spell Esuna. At first Esuna seemed overpowered but it turns out that you as the white mage have to have the debuff on yourself as well in order to remover it from your party. This is where the new spell sacrifice comes into play. It enables you to transfer a debuff from one of your party members on to yourself and can remove a wider range of debuffs with Solace up. Lastly are the spells Cura which is useless unless your trying to wake up your party I suppose and my personal favorite, Auspice. Auspice grants an AoE Subtle Blow like affect to your party members which is great to prevent mob TP spam. As far as gear is concerned, my White Mage was able to pick up a Cleric's belt which is just an amazing belt for everything a White Mage does and I was able to get the much coveted Roundel Earring which grants an additional 5% to cure potency and I can use it on my Red Mage too.

I guess now that I'm finally on Red Mage AF2 HAT AND DALMATICA GET!!!! It's funny how getting these two pieces of equipment has driven me to try and better my Red Mage even more. I actually started to merit more (a little over 300 merits total now) and I capped my Phalanx II merits and got Dia III unlocked. My next goal is to put my last two merits into Slow II to put it at 3 total. Also in the new update Red Mage got a new job ability Composure which increases the duration of buffs on yourself. 8-9 minute long Phalanx II, Refresh, and Haste is incredibly nice to have.

For my Black Mage, there haven't really been any changes to it. I havnt done any solo challenges recently and I didn't get any new equipment for it either. However I'm still at the top of parses of my linkshell at all highly resistant HNM's and in terms of NM's we Magic Burst I've been pulling off some 2k plus Bursts which nobody can come close to which is a good feeling especially since I don't have a Sorcerer's Ring and some of them do lol.

Now for my 3 more recently leveled jobs. Not much to say for Ranger I've used it maybe twice for zerg fights(Samurai is used more for that now). I do however scan for Sandworm and Ixion on it and have even claimed Sandworm and solo stalled it on Ranger for a few minutes. Samurai is fun in the fact that it's very demanding at times. I like how Samurais can set the pace for some fights since they are the skillchain masters. I find it to be fun for those types of fights. I was also able to snag an Ace's Helm which I know Mike is jealous of =P <3 ya man lol. I also got a very nice Velocious belt which I use for this job and many others (6 percent haste, too bad most mage jobs can't wear) :/ Lastly my Ninja. This is my fun job. I love being able to just solo things on it with Dancer sub and not have to worry. I find meriting on it to be fun too. It's nice being complimented by Bards for having fast provokes so they can keep pulling(something that peeves me whenever I have to pull on Bard when people don't voke it off me and I have to stand there waiting). I think I went crazy for my Ninja and it's gear. Before I even hit 75 I got my Ungur Boomerang, Perdu Blade, and Senjuinrikio. I also busted my butt in Sea to get pop sets for Jailer of Hope and snagged a Hope Torque for my Ninja and Ranger.

I guess that's all that's most of what's been happening to me in game for the last few months. I guess that leads me into future goals. I'm still working on my Maats cap of course. (I'll post my 2 new videos after this). Unexpected on my quest for this was getting my Summoner to 62 with very little effort in Summoner burning (being able to get 10 levels in 2 hours is incredible). I don't think I'll do the fight once I hit 66 though, because I really want to get my Summoning skill up. The job I had planned to level next was Beastmaster. Now that SE came out with this new Mog Satchel, (hello 70 and maybe 80 extra inventory slots) leveling new jobs isn't a burden on my inventory. SE also came out with the new storyline. "A crystaline Prophecy" It only took me two days to beat it and was a subpar storyline although I did enjoy the last fight due to it's challenge. With beating it I got a new body piece that has +5 STR/DEX/AGI and your able to chose from 20 stats to put onto it. I chose Crit Hit +3% and Accuracy +10 which I use to TP on my Monk and Ninja and I'm really liking it. Overall scores I put for it are...
Storyline 4/10 - Confusing story that seemed rushed but I did enjoy the ending.
Music 9/10 - There wasn't much new music but when it comes to SE there music is always incredible, especially the final battle music. I can't wait for this to come out on Itunes.
Cutscenes 6.5/10 - When I saw the first cutscene I was super psyched because it felt like a movie, I also liked the ending cutscenes because it brought some of it back. The middle though was kinda bland and were kind of boring.
Gameplay 3/10 - If it wasn't for the end fight I'd probably place this at 1/10 just for the simple fact that it wasn't challenging or fun but tedious and it felt like I was doing the prerequisites for a quest and not doing Mission quests.
Final Score: 5.5/10 It felt incredibly rushed and if it wasn't for the final fight (which I found out you don't have to buy the expansion to at least do the fight(no reward though) and the always incredible SE music, it would have been much lower. Was it worth 10 bucks? I'm still on the fence with this one just because I'm a big supporter of Final Fantasy(I guess that makes me biased to a degree) I guess it was but it felt like I was paying $10 for a new body piece. I really hope SE doesn't rush the next two mini expansions that come out because I'm really looking forward to the Shantotto one.

To start things off, I've been helping Oishi get Sea access so he can apply to LP. I was able to (with the help of Judg) get some people together for a UO run. I forgot how much fun and cool this fight is.

My Samurai has been progressing little by little. Currently it is up to 64 so I can wear my Haubergeon which looks so cool ^^

5/5 on my useless Samurai AF (cept for the helm) Cute but Deadly :3

The new update came out for WoTG so of course I went ahead and did all the new missions. I hate how they always leave it at a cliffhanger :< (good storytelling I s'pose)

Tension is high amongst the two mercenary groups.

In other news, we finally cleared all 9 wings of Einherjar. Elite Einherjar woo. I won't post the Odin fight yet since it happened in October but it was a fun fight.

Well this is going to be a short post especially in comparison to past months. Possibly because I'm done with all missions up to this point. Basically I've just been trying to save up money like always for when my Morrigan's body finally drops in Salvage. Was also a slow month in terms of obtaining new gear. This could be in part because I've got all my city dynamis AF (other than ranger gloves.) Other than that we've killed a couple of sandworms now but the end of the month was slow for all HNMs due to the fact that it's been in the morning time when we don't have enough members. We have been recruiting more members though in that time zone so hopefully that will change.

Summer event was all right the mini games were actually kind of fun and this years swimsuit looks a lot cooler than the past years.

For those of you looking to get Sandworms HP lower a lot quicker. Yes it can be cursed! This would be the equivalent of around 7000 damage I think.

Lastly I laugh at everyone who makes fun of my standing set. Lets see someone else manage this. :3

June/July 08 (Long Overdue)

So these past two months in game have been extremely busy for me. What with all the new content that came out as well as the old stuff that LP does. Now that SquareEnix has made it to where you keep your outposts if you return to your old nation I decided to get Rank 10 in Bastok and Windurst. I duod Bastok with Emolite and Windurst with Judgmental. Out of the three nations Windurst by far has the best storyline and characters. For Bastok I like the characters, but there wasn't that much of a storyline. While San d'Oria is the opposite; decent story but lame characters. (Except princess Claidie ^_-)

Zeid has got to be the coolest character in the Bastok storyline.

Aggrod this and got the drop while doing the Bastok missions lol. Too bad I lost lot.

Maybe I'm biased towards Windurst's storyline because I'm a Taru but I just love everything about the back story on the Summoning magic and other magic in general.

I'd have more pics of Windurst but I made it smaller due to the length of this post. Anyways heres the ministers and star sibyl of the storyline.

The first thing I did when the Wings of the Goddess Update came out was do all the new missions. I don't wanna spoil too much so I only picked a couple of screenshots.

SquareEnix is an equal opportunist for gay people lol.

The new main character Lilisette seems kind of familiar to Prishe. Even though Prishe was a cool character, I hope they make Lilisette a different personality.

Some of the new quests have cool cutscenes like this one with Fafnir Flying.

With the new update a new HNM came out called Dark Ixion. The cool thing is our linkshell was the first to kill on the server and I got the first Ixion Cloak (although I'm still sharing it with Suterusu)

I finally decided to get all my promyvion maps (aside form Vahzl). Forgot to take a pic of me getting Hollas but I have a pic of the memosphere.

We went for 2 weeks without the Astral Candescence so a group of LP members including myself decided to get it back and we got a cool new title.

Lastly I finally got Captain rank for Assault. Hurray for free runic portal usage.

As I get more and more gear my loot pics tend to get smaller but the pieces tend to get better.
Forgot to Include my Ixion Cloak in there. Finally got my Omega ring from Einherjar too now that they made it to where you get points for any kills you get.

Finally got my Black Mage hat from Xarcabard and then my feet from Jeuno to be 6/6 for Blackmage AF2.

Heh had all the photos uploaded on time for once just could never get around to writing this entry. For good reason of course with all the new content out. Anyways for may I decided to finish up the Treasures of Aht Urhgan storyline. What started off as a slow storyline actually turned out to be a great one with some plot twists here and there. Not going to spoil the storyline any but some of the photos might give away some stuff.

April 08 (Slow but progressive month)

Not much happened to me this month however what did happen was kinda big I suppose.

For my Dynamis shell, I started making a spreadsheet to keep track of attendance and it kind of turned into me becoming the new attendance over seer. (if that's even a word) Something I find interesting about it is in a months time, we've had around 60 different people show up, however, for city runs we're lucky to break a little over 20 members.

As far as limbus is concerned, I've been asked to lead a lot more runs recently and also hold onto the chips for Ultima / Omega runs. This could possibly be because I actually know a thing or two about limbus as well as I'm a loser with no life so I'm always on for runs. Either way it's kind of fun.

At the start of the month, we did Divine Might runs for people that never did it before or people like myself who wanted to get a different earring. This time around, I got an Abyssal Earring. Owns for my Black Mage's Dark skill build. I think I'm at 317 Dark Magic with it now.

I Think the full moon fountain is one of the coolest looking things in game.

I finally broke down and finished up San d'Oria missions. Overall I thought the story was kind of meh but I do like the cut scenes and Princess Claidie owns.

I'd have to say the biggest kick I got out of the story was when the King said his sons weren't worthy of the thrown at this time and that even I could possibly be king. Just the thought of Taru as king over all those Dhalmels made me laugh.

Finally in Salvage I got my 35 piece for Marduk's Shalwar and I got my first completed salvage piece Which are by far the best legs for Bard to wear. Also I was awarded with Crimson legs from my linkshell. Personally I think they're a waste on me, (although I've made use out of them) but then again nobody else can make real use out of them either lol.

I think from now on I'm going to do a monthly update instead of sporadic whenever I want to posting just because it will make things a little bit easier on me.

I guess I will start off as usual with what's new in game. Recently, Kirk has started a new salvage group with my help and we go two times a week currently. We plan to make that four times a week but we have to get people higher assault ranks. Currently we have eight people in the group (which we were hoping for only 6 but go with what you got) and the runs have been going really smooth. It took about a month of planning but we decided to do a Zhaylom remnants run. Which if you've done Salvage you know is the hardest run not only with the pop conditions of the NM'S, but the difficulty of them as well. On our first run we managed it to where we would have had the Poroggo that pops by having 3 people fully cleared of pathos and the one that requires you to kill 4 previous NM's. However we ran out of time on the first one and didn't kill it. We then revamped our strategy and killed the first (which drops my Bard Body) and got the second one to about 50% but that was in about 1-2 min since we ran out of time. I figure next time we will be able to kill both. We also have been getting some pretty nice drops. One of them being Kirk getting the 35 piece for Usukane feet which was his most wanted item. We're now getting people to form a second group so we can team up once a week to do the boss' since some of them require more people in order to clear.

Got both drops off the NM which is incredibly rare from what I hear.

Recently I've been leveling my Ranger and I got it up to 66 now. My Ranger is pretty pimped out in gear and I break 4 digit Sidewinders quite often. (and not even on birds) Unfortunately there was a tie for first the other week so prices of arrows have sky rocketed so I've been leveling my Samurai with Kirk until arrows go back down again. As for my Samurai I've already got it from 12-29 in 3 days and only leveling it for about 2-3 hours per day. Not bad seeing as I solo it and using Jetjet to powerlevel myself.

Full Ranger AF

On a minor note I've been less lazy with San d'Orian missions and only have one more to go to get rank 10, and 100k lol. The storyline is alright but I think Princess Claidie is my favorite character in it.

Brice finally got his Gjallarhorn this month and we decided to go merit some and I actually went Red Mage to this. All I can say Is I <3 Gjallarhorn. The only time I ran out of MP and had to convert was when I casted protect 4 on everyone in the party. I also got a new high on my chain. With this party I was also able to finally cap my White Mage merits.

My loot for this month wasn't half bad (nothing compared to last month) and I got some really useful pieces.

Goliard feet are incredible for Bard Chr+4 and Magic Acc +2 is the best you can get on feet. It also doubles up as a resting piece for my other jobs seeing as it's the best HMP piece for feet at 3 HMP. On our last Dynamis-Windurst I managed to beat 5 others out for the best Barspell piece for Whm. Clerics Pantaloons give a direct +20 to Barspells. Which by looking at my merits you know I'm all about getting high numbers on Barspells and I focus on Magic Defense. The last piece I managed to get off a free lot but are an excellent Ranged Accuracy piece for Ranger...too bad I can't wear them yet.

Status for this month is Average for LP Still somewhat monopolizing Tiamat however we have wiped to it at 100% which was embarrassing. I guess the only way to kill it is if Kirk is tanking it ^_- theres a +1 to his tanking ego lol. And speaking of which, Kirk has become one of the sub leaders of LP which I find a good thing because he's on a lot and is one of the most knowlegeable if not THE most in out linkshell when it comes to endgame. As for kings we've killed very few Fafnir's but did get one or two ridils and killed Aspid with another linkshell since it was in the morning and we didn't have the numbers for it and they ended up winning the Dalmatica. Oh well. However we did get a Gjallarhorn and have had some excellent Dynamis/Limbus runs.

2 Months of Stuff

Ok so I'm really bad about editing this thing as of late and I know Oishi wants something to read so I guess I'll make up for 2 months worth of in game happenings.

I'd start off on all the really exciting stuff but I will try to keep it in chrnological order for purposes of keeping track of when I did what. Now I started off in San d'Oria for the WoTG area but I found the storyline rather bland so I switched over to Windurst and I'm glad I did. The storyline so far is more interesting to me since it's got more of my favorite characters in it. One nice thing about the "new" areas I like is Campaign. I'm bad at ranking it up but whenever I check I always have it. Anyways here's some pics of the Windurst storyline.

First off is me disconnecting on the Windurst story boss fight which I still won even while dc'ing lol.

The now Mithran Chief in Windurst who lost her sight due to the bow of light can still see and she kicks major butt.

The Taru of all Tarus, not much is known about him yet but I know the storyline will go into more depth with him and I can't wait.

Lastly is that one Taru we all know and hate...well some I think he's cool but now we can see why he's the way he is. Ajido Marujido for the win.

My new Damage down set is incredible and Bard/Blue mage is my favorite way to solo now on Bard. I think it would work nicely in ballista too. Here's a pic of Zidan thinking he's going to own me when i got charmed in Dynamis.

Last month while I was camping my Vali's Bow I happened to stumble across an NM in Fei'Yin. After about two weeks of killing a couple million gil later and an Errant Cape, gilsellers finally started camping it again. Was fun to kill Capricious Cassie with Judg and sometimes Zerv thought while it lasted.

Some good news happened about a month ago and Theatis (Theataru) came back after about two years of being gone. I've helped him on a couple of things in order to help him get back into the swing of things. While doing so I helped him get Corsair unlocked, which I needed as well. Pretty cool storyline at that.

Ahh Asaults everyones favorite thing to do. While they are all different and provide an interesting challenge to the game it sucks trying to get Captain rank by beating all 51 of them. I did however finally manage to get First Lieutenant and have about 13 more assaults to go before I get Captain. Only difficulty is getting those done and doing Nyzul Isle at the same time. Although the last two rank up missions for Assault were by far my favorite.

"Principal Koja" or rather Naja in disguise does another one of her schemes in order to steal all my money. This time it's a training academy where I met some pretty cool characters and a great story comes about.

The coolest part of the Assault storyline was the rock, paper, scissors game of Crab Beetle Ghost. Cept the cost of losing is having a bomb explode on you. Funny thing is, I didn't have the bomb blow up on me once.

Finally the rank I so worked hard for.

My newest job that I've started leveling is Ranger and since I last posted I got it from 30-58. However in the process After camping for around 2 weeks and being 1/7 on drop I got my Vali's bow. Also once again another cool storyline I came across that involves Vashai, Semih, and a Mithran tracker and it all has to do with The Bow of Light.

Finally my favorite thing to post about, the new awesome gear that I have obtained. I recieved a few more things besides these but I forgot to either take screenshots of me obtaining them or they aren't that important. Maybe I'll take some pics of me in some of the gear later and repost.

Funny thing is I lost lot the first time to Reinmann but we've killed quite a few this past month. Speaking of which, LP's starting to claim a lot of stuff again. Already, we've got 2 ridills an e. body and much more all in a months time. Also, we've held a monopoly on Cerberus.

New Adventures Await..or would they be old adventures?

Yah yah, my first post since the new expansion has come out. I've been pretty late with this one but I'll blame SE for this first seeing as I couldn't actually play the expansion until almost a week after release date due to shipping/registering problems. Anyways here goes. The first thing I had to do was enter a Cavernous Maw which are the portals to the past.

Basically it sux you in while you're standing around looking at the pretty light show in awe.

The graphics here and the movements of the character are just the tip of the iceberg for what the rest of the new expansion has to offer.
So far there aren't that many missions out yet, and in fact there are only three of them out at the moment. Other than the city based missions, (I chose Sandy to start with but am now switching to Windurst since I like the characters there more)which basically are used to show your loyalty to the nation you choose, like me fighting this Dancing orc lol.

You meet up with the new character Cait Sith or as you first meet him as Regal Feline. As for the rest of the storyline that I have up to I don't really wanna ruin any of it since I'm a huge fan of final fantasy storylines but I will post a few more pics :3

Oh and here's an example of some of the beautiful detail put in. This was a shot I took on the way to Bastok. (Look closely and you can also see what my newly dinged 75 Whm is wearing)

So you now know that yes I finally dinged 75 on my Whm. I did procrastinate getting it up, but I did finish my Drk sub to 37 for Chainspell stun on my Rdm. So far I've already merited Devotion once and I have 1 into cure cast timer.
Other than that I've been doing a lot of Campaign Op missions and a lot of campaign itself with jerm judg and some others.

Back in ToAU I'm trying to be less lazy and finish the missions which the story is getting pretty good. I beat the mission Puppet in Peril which wasn't too hard. Just had a little trouble with stuns but that all worked out fine since Mani was able to put the hurt on that Mamool Ja.

Sometimes I come across weird missions and this one ranks pretty high up there. I finally got my Chief Sergant rank for assaults by helping save Aqubah's butt since he made Najaa's morningstar rust. Anyways it was funny but not as funny as Najaa carresing her weapon.

Finally to rap things up, Wednesday night I finally got my Melee Gloves from Dynamis-Jeuno and still lotting against other people which it was their first time commenting it so all I can say is I've been commenting them longer so the rightful person got :3 lol j/k

A Day (Week) to remember

Well I guess I'll start off with the minor things. Judgmental has been forming a list of where everyone stands on Assaults and Missions for ToAU so everyone knows who needs. About a week ago Judg even helped me beat Shield of Diplomacy which I've been putting off for a long time. It was an incredibly easy fight but with many cool screenshots of course.

Going along with the list Judg compiled, I've been able to get some more assaults done and I am now Sergeant rank.

After all of that going on a week prior, A day to remember finally came. Since it was a Thursday, there were no events planned in linkshell since it was our free day, (other than HNM camps)so I decided to try for my Carect Ring which is 20 MP 1 MND at Level 25. I ride the boat once and the 21-24 hour pop NM shows up I kill it and go 1/1 on my ring. Later on we decided to camp Behemoth again since we had claimed it the two days prior. We were the only ones there besides one member of ThoseGuys. Who would have guessed King Behemoth would pop day four. Funny thing is I claimed it with Flash on my 72 White Mage. After we kill it of course I get the Tounge which I've been trying to get forever, putting me at 3/3 items for Black Belt. I also won the lot for the Wyrmal Head abjuration, which is the crimson mask. This grants 10 enfeebling 20 HP and MP and a regen effect. Of course I was more psyched about my Black Belt which was the final piece of TP gear for my monk. Also to top it off, the day prior I won a 100 piece in Dynamis-Xarcabard. Dropped off of our fifth kill on DL since we reformed the linkshell. 5/5 on kill now too. Thus was the end of my day to remember.

Passive Aggressive

So I finally got my White Mage up to 68 so I could wear my Noble's Tunic which I pestered Ligerzero for 2-3 days to go onto the bank and get it for me lol. All I can say about it is I'm in love. Such an amazing piece to have for white mage. Also since I got it I decided to take on Maat in a fight where I just sit there and live for 5 minutes lol. Either way I did an awesome job at keeping up blink and Stoneskin and of course I have a video for all to enjoy.

In other news I managed to get both my nq and -1 pieces for my Duelist Boots in one month and I just turned in all the stuff to get them upgraded. (I'll post a pic of the +1 tomorrow.)

Last night we did a ks99 behemoth run and I managed to get a kreigsbeil so I have money again only thing that stinks is out of the 6 runs not a single tounge dropped.../sigh I guess I'll never get my Black belt. I did however get my abjuration for shura kabuto today in sky.

Anyways the linkshell seems to be pulling out finally. We claimed a Nidhogg and a Fafnir back to back and getting a lot of KVs we're also starting to get more good players in the linkshell so that's exciting as well.

Sea Phase

As of late Jerm and I have been getting other people to come out to low man some of Sea. Currently my favorite thing to kill would be Ix'Drk. We also do Ix'Drg and Ix'Mnk. Those are the fun things in sea. We do however farm Grah M chips which can be boring but I get to go out on my Monk to that. Anyways we now have enough to pop 3 JoL's but it seems the password to Shula who holds onto the pops has been changed. Hopefully we can figure out what has happened to that because that was a lot of work put forth to get those pop sets. Anyways my Red Mage is now 75 and is actually pretty decently equipped. I've been trying to get the Alturistic cape of off Ix'Drk but the Vice just won't drop. I sold my spider torque thinking I was going to get an Enfeebling torque with my sky points but some jerk upped the price on it. I'm still deciding if I want to use my sky points on that or save up to get a Noble's Tunic so I can level White Mage again and fight Maat on it :3 Either way I've been trying to farm some money to get both items. However, I spent some money so I could finally get my Mannequin which I'm glad I did because it made a lot more inventory spaces. I'll need another 600k in order to be content with buying a Enfeebling torque and using sky points to get Nobles tunic. In other news I finally capped my Monk's hand-to-hand skill and it's reached the max possible in the game of 299. As far as black belt is concerned I finally got my Adamantoise Egg; just need Behemoths Tounge now. LP's been struggling as of late to keep people in the shell and to go out to camp and claim stuff. I'm hoping we can pull out of this.

New Content, New Accomplishments, New Goals

First off I'd like to share my disappointment in this new feature.

Waste of time, Waste of money etc... Chocobo Racing Circuit is a big gigantic dud.

So I finally got that Teahouse Tumult Cutscene done; which I've been too lazy to do and now knowing what crummy awards come out of ToAU there's not that much motivation to get it done. (other than the cutscenes of course <3 Cutscenes :3 )

I started working on my crafts again (mainly sub crafts)and I got my Alchemy up to 50, my Bonecraft to 17, my Goldsmithing to 20, and I got 1 measly level in Woodworking to bring it up to 73.

In other news, I finally got my Novio earring :3 Funny thing is I got to lot with stormie and well this screenshot says it all.

The rest of my accomplishments have been Dynamis Related. First off I beat Dynamis lord for the first time. Cool thing is we did it with 26 people and 4 of those people were being two boxed lol. A great cutscene to finish off the Dynamis Storyline although it left it open. Last week we also beat Animated Kunai for Quietus' Kikoku. I think he is only 1800 coins away from the final upgrade too. I also got my Melee Crown because it was free lotted. Not really a good piece though. Good for Monk/Drk I suppose.

Lastly as far as Leveling goes I've got my Red Mage up to level 72 now. (good level because I can use so much more gear than before) Also my White Mage is now 63.

Leveling up in more ways than one

Been a little lazy at getting this post up. Mostly because I hate having to edit the photos for gear to show stats but also because I've been at work a lot.

Anyways, my Monk has reached a whole new level thanks to the gear that I have recieved from LostParadise. I got all three of these pieces in the time frame of twenty-four hours. First we did some Byakko runs and the results netted me some leg gear I can be proud of. First I got my Byakko's Haidate for my TP setup as well as for recast timers on things like Bard and such. I also got my Shura Haidate. Which is a really nice piece for my Asuran Fists Weapon Skill setup. The next day we did some sea farming and I brought one of my HQ Euvhi Organs along with and we popped a Jailer of Faith which in turn gave me one of the most sought after pieces, the Faith Torque which is a rare piece that gives Hand-to-Hand skill. Not many pieces do so.

I've had a bit of a crafting craze as of late. I've got another level on my Woodworking to bring it up to 73. Stupid Fishing poles are a horrible synth but the only thing I can do really. I started working on my Sub crafts though and got my Goldsmithing from seven to seventeen, Alchemy from thirty-four to fifty, and Bonecraft from six to seventeen.

The other day was leveling Guard skill and finally hit triple digits which might seem dumb but to Monks it's a pretty good accomplishment.

Lastly I got another level on Red Mage so it's now 67 and I've been leveling White Mage recently in a sort of static with some others in LP. I've now got it up to level 57 (and I do look good in White Mage AF :3 ) and I'm looking forward to another Maat fight.

Red Mage Fun

Yesterday I decided to take on my Red Mage Maat fight. So I went to sky on my Monk and solo'd one pot to get my scroll. I had some problems up to the fight like fraps not working on my pc, disconnectiong, and making new macros, so I didn't get to do it on Darksday like I originally planned. I also forgot my Elemental Torque which wasn't too bad. I would like to thank Suterusu though for lending me his Pluto's Staff. The fight went smoothly and I didn't use any meds (even though I didn't bring them to begin with.) Anyways 1/1 win on Red Mage Maat fight (^.^)b

In recent news I got my next Assault Rank of Corporal. I like how in the cutscene I'm eyeing Naja's Morning Star.

Gear wise I managed to pick up a few new pieces. First off I got enough sky points to buy the materials for a Vermillion Cloak Which I had signed by Suterusu.

I also got a Nashira Turban from Ultima the other day. Not an OMG changing piece but should be nice for Aspirs and Drains I guess.

Lastly I exchanged my rajas ring for a Tamas ring. I decided that the Tamas would be more beneficial to me since I have Bard, Black Mage and soon Red Mage at 75.

I've been working on White Mage lately. Got it up from 38 to 46 as of now but after tonight it will be higher. I got my Teleport-Vahzl quest done so I can now teleport anywhere.

New Leaders

Today was interesting and had a new twist. One of the announcements on linkshell was that we will now have three new leaders. This was needed since currently only two are able to be on a lot and one of those two will be on vacation for three weeks. Ligerzero, Maximillionbob, and Zervilhaa will be the new leaders. I hope they're ready for what's in store for them.

Recently I got my Brutal earring which gives Double Attack as well as my relaxing earring which gives Heal Mp +2 which are both nice pieces. Took a couple of days just to get 5 Euvhi Organ's for the Relaxing Earring though. Got some good Exp and a couple of merits though. Funny thing is, was that I needed both 1 Euvhi Organ as well as a Luminan Tissue and they both dropped on the same Euvhi lol.

Some good news involving myself is finally getting 5/5 Bard AF2. Yesterday in Dynamis Xarcabard my Bard's Cannions finally dropped. I had lost lot but Suterusu passed it to me so I could get my first 5/5. (He said it was because he already was 6/6 on Ranger and White Mage but I think otherwise) :3 Anyways thanks Brice.

Today I did a Mamool Ja LC Assault called Breaking Morale. A rather boring and frustrating Assault but now I think I'm only 1 or 2 points to rank up. Also did another Golden Salvage with Kirk and he got his first Rank up. ^^

Tonight we tried getting Kirk his Swift Belt (that gimp Taru lol) no drop but then killed one Fomor Red Mage and got my subligar and I got my Glamor Jupon, Which is rather spiffy looking.

It's only been a day or two since Emufarmer left but already it feels like there's nothing to do. These next 2-3 weeks going to be boring without low manning Sea and Sky. He did however lend me his newly acquired Novio Earring which I can say ROCKS!!!

So in recent news i have finally finished capping group 1 merits for Black Mage with 5/5 Lightning and Ice Potencys. My plans for merits will now continue with 1 merit in Freeze II before I continue on and start Hand to hand and Monk category merits.

Gear wise I now have my Shura Togi for my monk. I also used some sky points and got my Aquillo's Staff. At our last Ultima run I obtained my pair of
Nashira Crackows. This is one of my most favorite pieces now not only in style but they are a good alternative to my Rostrum pumps. It's nice to not lose HP as a Taru.

My woodworking is coming along slowly. I can't keep up the pace like Kirk and Emufarmer because my budget won't allow it lol. As of now I am 72.6. I also finally got my Carpenter's Gloves which add an additional 1 to woodworking. Time to start on the Apron which is 100,000 guild points >.<

Another accomplishment of mine is finally getting my Ninja subjob to 37 and obtaining Ni. I've been able to play monk easier and I got this on my first try pulling as Bard/Nin.

In other news I've been starting up Assaults again, this time with Kirk. Not only does it help me get points for the Yigit set, which I want as a resting set (8 Heal MP and refresh if I'm not mistaken) but it's also helping Kirk get his rank ups.

Also thanks to Kirk we've been starting up Salvage again. Last night we did a Bhaflau Remnants and got 2 pieces of gear. We popped the Rampart on the second floor which can spawn Skirmish Pephredo but it never did. Was a fun run though.

In other news we've been farming a lot of Sea lately. Last weekend we popped 2 Jailer of Love, which in turn gave us 2 novios and a novia earring. This week we've already farmed enough to pop 2 full tier 2 Jailers and then another 2 JoLs.

Xolotl has been a real pain lately. Seems we have competition now and we are still lacking in drops hopefully this will change.

Although I wish it didn't happen but jetjet quit finally and gave me his character. I've been using it to Power level and hold on to pop items. I also lend it to Mike but he hasnt been on it much lately either. Hopefully I can get him to use it more since I like having my friends on the game.

Low manning sky continues to be one of the things I look most forward to. Recently we've been using some pop items to low man Genbu. Done it with as few as 3 people now. All in all it's a fun experience.

Every now and then I'll go out and level up my guarding skill some. Recently I hit level 90 on it. Heh it's going so slowly. I finally got my guarding earring/torque though so I now have +46 Guard skill to help out with it.

Since I got my Choral cuffs +1 I decided to redo my Bard quests and junk. Ugh it sucks doing them all over again. I did get all the pieces I need however and it is now stored. I will redo the last quest however so I still have it in my list.

I am now 4/5 for my Lightning Potency merits just need 5 more merits to cap it out and begin working on my Ice Potency.

We did a KS99 Wyrm last night and on my run I got 1.8-1.9 mil in drops. *glee* Seems I'll be able to afford my cursed togi as well as a wind earring. I hope lol.

Last night I got to see Andune on game for the first time in a whole year. I hope she decides to come back full time.

A new start

Well I was waiting for all the drama to finally finish in the linkshell and the end result was... around 9 members switching servers and our linkshell repearling. This may seem bad but on the contrary it's been sort of a wake up call for LP. Ever since this happened, we've started getting things accomplished. For example that same day that the people switched servers we claimed Tiamat and FINALLY got our first pair of Gaiters to drop and a big grats to Emo on getting those. For Limbus we've combined the two groups and got 3 items for Omega in one go! This is great because it speeds things up a ton. Also we realized we were just doing too many things at once so we've toned down the schedule a little bit.

During the weekend we did a HUGE guard run in sky. A lot of the gems and stones we're made possible by the low manning runs that me, emu, reznor, toth, jerm and emo have been doing. Not the same people each time but it's been getting done.

In other words, my Monk reached 75, I capped my Elemental magic for Black Mage, I finally got a Jupiter's staff,Temple Hose +1 and my long awaited for Choral Cuffs +1. I'll edit later when I can get on FFXI again and put photos up of me with them on.(Laptop in for repairs ;-; )

I'd also like to give a big thanks first off to everyone who remained in the shell. This past week has proven that through sheer will and determination things can be accomplished. I'm proud to be apart of your group. To the people that left, many were friends of mine and will remain that way, because even though drama was caused, I will remember the good times. Lastly I wanna give a huge thanks to Reznor that spent his time and money to get us a new Ventrillo server as well as a new website considering each was run by a member that left. LET'S GO LP WE'RE STILL ALIVE!!!

Low Manning Sky

Today started off as a pretty droll day as I started by camping Khimaira for 6 hours >_> Didn't really matter though since I kept dozing in and out.

Emufarmer then said that he was looking for a red mage to duo with in sky so I asked if I could come Black Mage as well to help. Basically on Steam Cleaner all I did was make it a faster fight. I was the one that managed to find Zipacna or to be more accurate he found me. We managed to kill that as well. We then went up to Mother Globe. We had some trouble the first couple of times and then Middlesky had to log. However, we managed to get Toth to come up and after a 30 minute fight with Emu on Rdm and Toth and I on Blm we managed to kill Mother Globe.

In other news my Monk is now 74 and only 15k to 75. I can't wait especially because I have a lot of gear already waiting.

The past few days have been a little hectic in the shell and we may have lost one of our leaders Arethal. I hope all things will be sorted out and she'll come back.

Salvage

Been breaking my latent on my Destroyers recently and in doing so have been soloing. While doing so a Besieged started so I went and tried to see how much HP I could acquire.

Yesterday was maintainance so I couldn't play much. After it came on we killed another King Vinegaroon and got I think our 10th helm.

After that I went to my first Salvage run with my linkshell. We had just recently started it back up this week and I've decided to go with the early start group so it will not mess up my assault static. We went to Bhaflau Remnants where e managed to get to the boss but we had a huge lacking in support job drops. This ended up being our downfall because it hindered damage as well as made it hard to erase people which in turn died because they could not get away from AoE. All in all though it was fun and 3 pieces of gear dropped 2 Nemain's Sabots and one Njords Trousers.

After that we did our usual Ultima run. For some reason though this run went completely terrible and we ended up wiping. First time since I've joined that this has happened. This was a huge downer for the night.

However this was all made better when Therin started an awesome party. 2 Bards, Suterusu(puller) and me(Backup healer and ballad singer),2 Ridil wars, Rykoshet and Mefya, Therin as Dark Knight and Emufarmer as Red Mage. We got about 30k worth of exp and were there about an hour and a half. Used the new merits in there to get Elemental Magic skill #5.

After that Suterusu helped me get the last of my points to break my latent on Destroyers. Show off with his ridil on White Mage lol. Destroyers are so friggin awesome.

Less lazy new stuff

These past few days I've been doing some of the random things that i dont know why I never bothered to do before for example putting a mahogany bed in my moghouse to upgrade from 60 to 70 storage spaces. Why have I never done this before? Who knows? lol.

Yesterday I got my new Black mage af1+1 gloves. I can't wait to try them out at HNM's or something.

I got my Monk to 73 today and started working on my latent with Xeph and Cat. I'm 300/500 before I decided to call it a night. Einherjar didn't go so well tonight we got to the boss and it was that buffalo again but we didn't beat it in the time limit.

Yesterday I finally beat Dynamis-Quifm :D I can't wait until sunday because I was invited to go to Dynamis-Tavnazia. It will be the linkshell's first time there so not much is expected but it looks like it will be fun.

I finally gathered up all the materials for my Sha'ir manteel but now I'm having trouble finding a 100 goldsmither with a 60 clothcraft sub. I just wish I could find one already and get my awesome body piece :/

Last night in myt assault static we beat 20th floor for Nyzul Isle twice and got the Denali Gamashes and the Askar Gambieres. No Goliard Clogs though which is what I want but grats to Kain and Therin on their new pieces. We then did some farming for points since the linkshell will be doing Salvage again soon. However I'm accumulating points in Ilrusi Atoll so I can get that Storm fife for our static. Anyways here's some pictures from our Assaults.

On the path again

Today is thursday so it's a free day for us but Arethal decided to get a sky/sea farming session in. Of course I can't pass that up since I enjoy it so much. Sky didn't go so well, in fact we didn't get anything from it. Sea on the other hand went really well we killed all the Ix'Aern's with Deeds to boot. No capes however. I was really hoping to see an Astute drop today :3

I didn't get to fish at fafnir today because of weather conditions at the park but people helping me get my Lu Shangs did. I finally broke the 1k mark and am at around 1200 fish out of 10,000.

Went to check on Dobsonflys so we can try getting people gear from that. Only one fly was up...no good drop from it but we have ToD now. I then proceeded to do Assaults with my static. We did a Lamia 13 so I could get the last point I needed to get my assault rank up. We then did a Nyzul Isle run but only were able to get floors 16-19 because we got a bunch of bad floors.

After that I did my Assault rank up quest. I had to gather water samples for some alchemist lady.

I completed that and obtained my new mercenary title.

After getting that I decided to try and get a copycat run started. I finally managed to get enough people. Destroyers didn't drop on my run but I got some Fuma Sune-ate which I sold to Demonsparta. Well gave him a rain check on him owing me money. Luckily on the last run these dropped however.

Finally I can level my monk again after 3 weeks ;-;

At last to end off the night I turned in my Diabolic silk, yarn, and AF Blm gloves so that Sunday I can obtain the +1's
